St. Mark's school is a Voluntary Aided Co-educational Church of England Primary School. It was founded in 1871 by Christian people who wanted to serve the local community here in south Bromley.

Our Mission
As a Church of England Voluntary Aided School with the worship of God the Holy Trinity at the centre we seek to be a caring and welcoming community of friendship and faith in which
· in the love of the Father - We value and care for each person individually and seek to nurture and encourage their gifts and potential so that
· in the example of Jesus - They may develop in physical health, creative academic learning, emotional and spiritual awareness, self-confidence and personal responsibility, and relationships of respect and concern for others in a safe environment displaying
· the life of the Spirit - In love, enjoyment, fairness, tolerance, kindness, goodness, dedication, humility and self-control.
Our Aims
St. Mark's is a welcoming school where we try to create a loving, caring community in which children are encouraged to achieve their academic potential and grow in confidence, assurance and consideration for others as they learn about themselves and the world in which they live. At the same time we aim to develop a spirit of adventure and enquiry so that children may meet the opportunities and challenges in our changing society.
